I was the lead architect/designer for the renovation of this colonial-era home in the Polanco district. I retained the building´s moulding and baroque effects to respect its heritage, while updating it with contemporary finishes more suited for modern usage. The foyer´s stone divider and glass, wood, and steel screen creates a storage area where the clients, avid cyclists, could conceal their bikes; in the master bedroom, long his-and-hers closets with extensive built-in cabinetry connect to a shared bathroom.
